Posted - May 28 2022 : 8:35:55 PM Hey everyone This is my first post and I was wondering if any of you have knowledge about the Battle of Bushy Run. My friend and I discovered this website researching the battle for a school project, and we wanted to try participating in a discussion about it. All we can find on the Internet is surface level information and it doesn't seem to portray the battle as something very significant, but I'm sure there was more to it than just a fight between the British and Native Americans. |

Posted - May 29 2022 : 12:10:50 PM Hi Cal! Glad you made it in.
On this site, we have a brief "article" about it: The Battle of Bushy Run.
Too bad Seamus has passed away. He was our resident expert on the colonial western frontier of Pennsylvania and has been sorely missed.
On this very board, you may find lots of relevant tales from that period from his [along with Many Flags and others] posts. See here: The MacWilliams Chronicles
I hope that gets you started! |
