Posted - November 12 2016 : 2:49:03 PM This victory by Donald Trump was against all odds. He was able to clearly see a path to victory and defeat a political machine that has been called "second to none." Amazingly, the Democrat "party of the people" grossly outspent the Republican "party of the rich thieves." Trump did a lot more with a lot less. If he governs in that manner we are in for good times. He will bring this Country together, if only he is given the chance.
He won, imo, because the Left pushed far too hard in promoting their agenda. Every action has an opposite but equal reaction. This applies to both sides: if you are not happy with results, look inside, don't blame the other. If you don't want the REACTION, suppress the initial ACTION.
The ONLY way to a whole America is to somehow work together. Otherwise, we are doomed to keep see-sawing back & forth instead of -- and I hate to use this word -- progressing as a Nation. |

Posted - November 10 2016 : 08:47:40 AM http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-11-09/american-uprising . This wasn’t a vote. It was an uprising. Like the ordinary men chipping away at the Berlin Wall, they tore down an unnatural thing that had towered over them. And as they watched it fall, they marveled at how weak and fragile it had always been. And how much stronger they were than they had ever known.
Who were these people? They were leftovers and flyover country. They didn’t have bachelor degrees and had never set foot in a Starbucks. They were the white working class. They didn’t talk right or think right. They had the wrong ideas, the wrong clothes and the ridiculous idea that they still mattered.
They were wrong about everything. Illegal immigration? Everyone knew it was here to stay. Black Lives Matter? The new civil rights movement. Manufacturing? As dead as the dodo. Banning Muslims? What kind of bigot even thinks that way? Love wins. Marriage loses. The future belongs to the urban metrosexual and his dot com, not the guy who used to have a good job before it went to China or Mexico.
They couldn’t change anything. A thousand politicians and pundits had talked of getting them to adapt to the inevitable future. Instead they got in their pickup trucks and drove out to vote.
And they changed everything. |

Posted - November 10 2016 : 08:20:00 AM I constantly hear people say, how could you vote for Trump? But no one says, how could anyone vote for Hillary. You are right, the shrieking and howling is music to the ears for a while, then it gets old. |

Posted - November 09 2016 : 10:45:06 PM I don't know which I enjoy more; the fact that the best candidate won, or that my state was the one to carry him over the finish line...
...Of course, the shrieking and howling of the Marxist looters & leeches is also music to my ears
