Posted - July 04 2005 : 11:17:44 AM today, the 4th of July 2005 is showing "The Crossing" right now. As is often their custom, it will probably be shown several times during the day. Certainly hope so, since I missed the beginnning. |

Posted - July 04 2005 : 8:26:51 PM I do too Rich, - well done indeed. Nice to see folks portrayed as they probably were, - not all saints, or sinners. |

Posted - July 04 2005 : 2:54:05 PM That is an excellent movie. The Military Channel was showing "The Revolutionary War" all through the night ... superb!
Right now, though, I'm finally catching some of those "Into the West" episodes on TNT. I like it! |

Posted - July 04 2005 : 12:21:24 PM M-Guide, this is one of my favorites! I had the foresight to tape it the very first time it was shown, several years ago, so watch it about once per year.
As discussed before, I think it is extremely well done, from all standpoints. And somewhere on these vast boards, you can find more of my comments about the events that inspired this movie. Just another of the many amazing events that occured during our fight for Independence.
Enjoy! |
