Posted - February 18 2023 : 6:13:37 PM This is the 3rd year they've had a "winter weekend" - and they had a pretty good turn-out - of course the weather helped, mid to upper 30"s, kinda toasty actually for February. While was very little snow - it was pretty icy walking. - They put some small clumps of hay to help with that. ... The usual Abenaki from R.I. & Vermont showed up plus some (I think Pequot) from the New York area were there for the second time. They're young & have a squaw with them. - I had some better pics - but never realized how low the battery in my camera was ... All the fire places were going - but still a pretty nippy way to spend a weekend ... maybe if I was a few decades younger. . Image Insert:
