Posted - September 04 2014 : 07:46:23 AM I know them as Belle ReviƩre. I was with them at Fort Frederick the weekend before last. They are from southern PA, and, of course, take their name from the Ohio. I think they are "centered" in the Pittsburg area, but one of their leaders, Butch Rodgers, lives in WVA very near to Fort Frederick. Sometimes they are known as the purple leggings milice because they found documentation that purple was issued to the milice for leggings and breech cloths. Not really purple, more violet. But next to navy blue you can see the difference. They were at most of the 250th series of F&I events. |
