War), will be holding their annual St. Andrew's Day Banquet ON Saint Andrew's Day, November 30. Held at Fort Bedford, compliments of the Duke himself (AKA Roger Glen), the festivities, toasts, comradeship, remembrances of years' past, etc....will rival previous Banquets. Then, on December 13, 14 the 77th Grenadiers will be in barracks at Ft. Bedford as the public visits to converse with us by candlelight. After a long hard year of battles and events, we enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of these two events, sitting by hearth fires, sipping libation and toasting all that is near and dear to our hearts. Do you suppose that his Grace the Duke will have to surrender his title once he becomes an American citizen?

And, to connect the 18th to the 21st century (well, really the 20th), 'tis also the birthplace of my Lainey, back in '59 ... Snake Spring, to be exact. Just some trivia. |
