Posted - October 07 2003 : 3:51:59 PM Well, minus the rain, i'd say it was a rather nice event. Coulda used more participants though.
It was nice to see all of you who attended.

Posted - September 17 2003 : 07:59:04 AM A quick update to the units attending. Patricity's Coy. of Rogers Rangers will be attending the second weekend. One of Mike's guys confirmed that Compagine Contrecour of the French Marine will be there both weekends. On the Brit side, no word from Capt. Bullit (1st VA) yet, but Capt. Robertson's Coy. of the 77th will be there the second weekend. If anything else surfaces, I'll pass it along...

Young Native,
What is the event and when? And I guess I'll go on a Map Quest to find out where Saxonburg PA is.

Posted - September 12 2003 : 3:20:01 PM I'm glad to hear that, Nephew. I know you will do well. As far as the French at Penn's, I have only some preliminary "G-2" as to who is showing. I know that the Royal Roussion Grenadier Company will be there (That was confirmed by both Lance and John). It is safe to assume that Contrecour's Compagine Marine will have a strong showing (They always have in years past, and Mike did not decline his invite). Compagine LeBeouf should have a few soldiers there, with the tavern. I am also pretty sure that Compagnine Dumas will field a few also. As far as Milice, Voyageurs, etc., there may be a half dozen or so of them. Totals for French/Native Forces should be around 30 or so. The Brits should be around the same number, depending on Patricity's Company of Rangers (sometimes they do one or both weekends). The other Brits will be us (the 42nd), Trent's Company of the Virginia Regiment (Jack O. should be the BritFor Commander), some of the Ohio Company Rangers, and maybe some of Bullit's Company of the 1st Virginia Regiment. All in all it should be a nice little get-together.

Posted - September 09 2003 : 01:22:42 AM I'm told that Fort Pitt's 60th got a better offer from The History Center and won't be making it. I'm glad to see that you'll be home for those weekends.Have fun at school. |

Posted - September 07 2003 : 01:15:30 AM Wesay-Kettahee, how are you my nephew? As you know, your Highland "Uncle" and his "Dirty Dozen, or so" will be there. Lady Munro and "The Yellow-Haired Princess" will also be there. I am trying to talk Capt. Bullitt and his company of the 1st Virginia to try to put it on their scope for '04. All in all, it will be a decent showing for the Crown Forces.
