Posted - November 05 2008 : 3:51:43 PM Got one for ya' - I think. Yesterday I was walking along a small river bank, - and saw quite a bit of water splashing near the edge. It was a muskrat trying to get his hands on a couple of ducks!! The ducks zipped into midstream pretty fast and relaxed - big mistake. This muskrat, zipped over and made another attack - actually came pretty close to the male duck. Then both ducks flew off quacking like no tomorrow. This was not an especially large muskrat - and both ducks were full size to say the least. ... That sob was one tough muskrat - but since when to they go after something as large as full grown ducks??? |
