NOT to be confused with the Newsletter subscription, which theoretically keeps you up-to-date on new features & content here and around the site!
To SUBSCRIBE to the Mohican Board [this function notifies you by E-mail of new posts, subject to the subscription you choose] you have several options!
First of all, you must be logged in!
Now, just under the Featured Poll on the Board's main page, you'll see a text link that reads, "Subscribe to Board," or, if you are already subscribed to the whole Board, "UNsubscribe to Board." Subscribing here will give you an E-mail notification of every post made to this Board [excluding your own]. Not recommended, unless you're really starving for mail! 
You have other options! Look for this icon -  Clicking that subscribes you to the Category, Forum, or Topic of your choice.
EXAMPLE: The Mohican Board Courier is a CATEGORY; The New Deal is a FORUM within that category; this thread, Subscribing to the Mohican Board, is a TOPIC within that forum.
Your level of subscription is dependant on which you choose, category, forum, or topic. You may subscribe to as many as you wish.
Up in the upper right-hand corner of the Board, among the navigational text links, is one that reads My Subscriptions. [Again, remember, you must be logged in!] You can manage your subscriptions from there.
