Posted - June 10 2002 : 09:00:27 AM Rich! Could it be - only a wee bit over a week to go? I'm bustlin around this here cabin, tryin to get a year's dust and spiderwebs cleared out before business is aboomin! But don't you worry - Ariel's Cabin will be ready and waitin for all those Mohican Gathering folks.
Lots of generous donations have been comin in for the silent auction and sale. And it's not too late to come knockin at my door if you have more. Just a samplin of the merchandise so far - beaded necklaces and earrings, beaded bags, cloth dolls, regional baskets, homemade bath salts, silk flower arrangement and door wreath, 1892 copy of the Deerslayer, wooden boxes with celtic designs, ornaments, 2 bottles of Ping and 2 bottles of Lemon Shrub (colonial drinks), Wes Studi (Magua) 8 x 11 signed photo, H. David Wright Warrior portrait, Three Kings lithograph by Bill Miller, and some items left from last year including 8 sets of Rich's "On the Trail" CDs.
Need more scoop on Ariel? Go to www.noeyes.com and you'll soon know how easy it was to "adopt" her here in Mohicanland. She has another surgery in November, so our help will be much appreciated.
Lookin forward to seein ya at the Cabin. Oh, and email me at jml@iquest.net with any donations.

Posted - June 12 2002 : 4:23:45 PM And thanks to you, Rich. Of course, we're not in it for the "thanks" anyway, right? Kate has mapped out the course so very nicely that I barely feel any pain at all! I might add it's been a true test of self discipline not to OPEN one of those CD sets to catch a preview! I've added it to my shopping list, though! (Which seems to be getting longer and longer - a hazard of the job as proprietress of Ariel's Cabin!)
Just received a BEAUTIFUL wooden box with a very detailed celtic design on top - painted and sent by Kathleen Broderick who unfortunately won't be able to join us this year. Thanks, Kathleen!

Sounds like a fine collection of goods you've assembled there in the Cabin! It's a smaller group this go 'round, so it might even be enough ... but don't let that stop you, folks ... It can't hurt too much to give a little more!
The job Jayne took on is a completely thankless & selfless one... let's aid her in making it a success!
I can't wait to get my hands on one of those CDs!
THANK YOU, JAYNE! [Ok, so it's not completely thankless!]
