Posted - May 10 2003 : 2:25:21 PM I just got off the phone with dad Garnet ( we had a loong conversation)and it seems like a miracle happened: Ariel didn't require surgery. When the doctors assessed her before surgery they noticed that her swelling had gone down considerably. They were astounded and have no explanation for this. Well, I think the power of prayer should never be underestimated!
Other than that Ariel is doing ok. Garnet says the next problem will be to get her into school which could be very expenisve considering the special equipment she requires. He is quite concerned that no school will take her.
Also,we need to pray for Ariel's mom who had to undergo surgery this past Wednesday and is not recovering well. It looks like she'll have to stay in hospital until Tuesday.. I will keep in close contact with them and try to squeeze in a visit next week or so..After all my soccer team will be playing right behnd their backyard. |
