Not being the owner of an ipod (or, come to think of it, even a radio!), I started using Pandora online whenever I want to listen to music. You can create and customize your own "stations" and there are no commercials or talking. Best of all, it's free! Here's the link.

Choose an artist or song that you like as the basis of your "station" and Pandora will automatically select other artists and songs similar to the one that you entered. You can rate each song with a thumbs up or thumbs down, and the thumbs-down songs won't be played on your station again. You can also have multiple artists from different genres in each station. One of mine has Sarah MacLachlan, Brooks & Dunn, and Evanescence, among others, for example. You could even create an entire station devoted to ABBA (wink wink, you know who you are ).
Enjoy! |
