Monadnock Guide	Posted - February 11 2008 : 4:48:58 PM Quite a thought, as nightmares go, - but IF THEY tried that, the backlash/out-cry would stagger the imagination. They wouldn't be able to accomplish anything except creating a new way to impeach them, - both. ;)
winglo	Posted - February 11 2008 : 4:34:24 PM I'm pretty sure that is just a nightmare. I think that after JFK chose his brother as Attorney General and it became apparent that a family could, if they chose, run the entire government, there was something (ammendment, law, etc.) that was put in place to prevent Presidents from having running mates, cabinet appointees, etc. who are related to or married to them. Now you've got me curious. I'll have to do a search and talk to my sister, who is a political scientist.
