Posted - January 20 2008 : 04:54:00 AM Hey there, WW!!! How are you!??
I'm afraid I've just taken on so many time consuming projects and commitments that I don't seem to have time to sit at my computer much these days. I don't seem to have time to do ANYTHING connected with the theme 'me time' these days! I so wish I did!!
I do miss the Board and all who sail on her... huh???? Oh, you know what I mean I do miss the cameraderie of 'visiting with friends' here. Rich does tend to send me links to posts he thinks I'll be interested in (and he's usually right, Bless his cotton pickin' little heart!), at which time I venture in and have a look. I don't know how many times I've thought, "Hmmmm... I must post a congrats or a comment or a..." and somehow, the page fills my monitor for a few days while I get round to it - then next time I look, the post is history and the moment has passed! DANG! That's me disengaged again!
I want to say "I'll try to do better"... but my record of following up on New Year's Resolutions is not a good one! As it is, I'm just about to head out to Glasgow to pick up my Mother who started her journey home from Christmas in Calgary 12 days ago! (She made it to Heathrow and suddenly collapsed, not being able to breathe - and was taken to hospital in London suffering a DVT that had moved up into her lungs!)
Then tomorrow I will be shopping and cooking for the Christmas dinner I promised her (Yep, my Christmas trees, lights, Christmas cards etc are all STILL UP!)... You see what I mean? Distractions, distractions!! HOWSEVER!! I shall say it anyway!! I will TRY to pop in here more often!! I'VE MISSED YOU!
Hoping everyone had a marvellous Christmas, a rootin' tootin' New Year with LOTS o' celebratin' - and that your winter is proving to be a not so bad one!
Seems Nathan and his beautiful bride have the rights o' it and are starting their year full of hope and optimism!! YAY!!
Best wishes,
|

Posted - January 04 2008 : 3:16:50 PM I have no clue as to how you took that! But, you laughed! So I guess you took it as I meant it -- a joke. Besides, I can say that because I think we are about the same age, if I recall correctly. |

What do you mean? You are old!
Although I was not there and did not have the privilege of meeting Nathan, I believe he may have been about 15 or so when that was taken, which was 7-1/2 years ago. So, while still very young, he is old enough. |
