Posted - January 03 2006 : 7:06:36 PM WW, I am so glad that the grandkids helped make your Christmas brighter!!!They can be little miracle workers. I thought about you and another friend that recently lost her husband. I am glad to see that both you and she are doing fine!!! My husband talked my sister-in-law into coming to my parent's house for Christmas. Her husband also passed away a few months ago, and her daughter was sick, so she was going to be all alone for Christmas and we couldn't stand the thought of her being alone, so he talked her into coming with us and she had so much fun. It just made me happy to see her talking and laughing with everybody, so yes, I had a wonderful Christmas and the best present that I received wasn't even under the tree. It was seeing her smile and laugh on a day that she was dreading.

Another hurdle has been passed... Next comes what would have been his 65th birthday, in February. |
