Posted - June 29 2005 : 1:35:32 PM A friend sent me this and I have been sitting here trying to do it, but I tell you that it is impossible. At least for me. If anyone is able to do it, let me know.
Love, Kay
How smart is your right foot?
This is so funny that it will boggle your mind. And you will keep trying it at least 50 more times to see if you can outsmart your foot. But you can't!!!
1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles with it.
2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction!!! |

Posted - July 08 2005 : 10:07:31 PM Well, I have something women can do that men cant....
place a chair next to a wall, place your head on the wall above the chair then try to lift it without taking your head off the wall.
Good luck guys!

Posted - July 08 2005 : 02:29:15 AM OK. This may sound strange, but all my life I've been fascinated with how my hands and feet are "in sync", and when I have nothing better to do, I choreograph little routines to see if I can outsmart my feet and catch them unawares. It never happens — they always follow what my hands are doing. I tried HARD to concentrate and not let my foot go counter-clockwise, but when I did that, the hand would NOT trace the shape of a "6".
My theory is that those who can trace the 6 without changing the direction of the circles the foot is making are perhaps more ambi-dextrous. Either that, or I am just more in sync with myself than y'all! (just kidding) |

Posted - July 04 2005 : 10:17:25 AM Well, I am almost afraid to post this... but I can do it too.
However. It is very difficult! And ccorner is correct, you have to concentrate very hard. In fact, I have to really fight to keep my foot going in the clockwise (yes, Rich... I am sure!) direction, because it surely does want to change.
Good excercise! Thanks Kay! |

Posted - July 04 2005 : 07:20:13 AM Not a problem doing it here. You have to concentrate. It is a mind over matter thing. Keep trying though, it is good for your brain. lol.
Carol, My mind is telling me that no matter how many times I try this, my foot will go counter-clockwise every time. I wonder why some of us can do it and others can't.

Posted - June 29 2005 : 11:04:27 PM YEP, my foot changed direction. I tried it at least 10 times. It happened every time! What's the secret? or is there one? |
