Posted - September 03 2007 : 2:35:58 PM Red, maybe you would prefer the alternate definition: Sagging Young Mohican Thing! |
Irishgirl |
Posted - September 03 2007 : 10:20:05 AM Well I voted "on the fence" since I am stuck between the two. Not a SYMT but definitely not a GGGG. |

Posted - September 02 2007 : 8:53:38 PM Oh. Of course. . . ?
Well, then, let's see. I'm tempted to say I'm an SYMT, though I'm neither Mohican nor particularly sweet. Then again, after 8 hours' worth of exams over the past 2 days, I might be feeling a little bit more like a GGGG. Soooo...
Is there a NMSSYTWFLAGGGG? Because that's what I would be.
(Ed. note: NMSSYTWFLAGGGG = "Not Mohican Sometimes Sweet Young Thing Who Feels Like a GGGG.") |

Posted - September 02 2007 : 8:25:48 PM Uhhhh . . . maybe this is just because my brain is dead after a 4-hour essay exam, but what's a GGGG and an SYMT? I've been looking at those abbreviations for a while and going, "Huh?" |

Posted - June 28 2005 : 07:42:56 AM I am on the line. Three teenagers are forcing me to the GGGG line quickly. I should have had them earlier! I keep telling myself character, they build character! Right....
Ummmmmmm.....yeah, right Carol.

Posted - May 26 2005 : 10:20:23 PM Hey, Doc M, I'm still here! Those were crazy days. Somehow we haven't hit the right chemistry for awhile. One of these days it will hit and we'll be out buying Depends again. Chris |

Posted - May 26 2005 : 3:16:29 PM Oh, Lord -- how well I remember that historic (more like hysteric) thread! I was plain "Mary" then, as that was even before the Fabulous Doc M was born...or hatched, or whatever terminology you choose. Those were the days when I had to put a towel on my office chair to keep from peeing all over the floor from laughing. We had a great bunch of bizarre, cranky, funny old so and so's posting then, and I miss them.
Doc M -- GGGG and loving it!! |

Posted - May 26 2005 : 11:01:12 AM Well, in spirit I'm a SYMT, but running around after my kids makes my body sure feel like a GGGG! |

Posted - May 26 2005 : 03:45:36 AM You’re as young as the person you feel….so they say, OK, so this doesn’t help me so I guess I am not quite a SYMT and almost a GGGG! |

Posted - May 24 2005 : 12:04:56 PM Proud to be a SYMT!!! |

OK, Rich... what were the demographics when we originally had this discussion? Is our group aging? Or are we gaining younger members faster than we oldsters are falling off the top end? You are officially a GGGG now, aren't you? Welcome to the best group! Chris
Chris, I have no idea what the demographics were around here back in '97. I can't remember. Further proof that I really am in the GGGG group now! |

Posted - May 23 2005 : 6:14:56 PM My son just met a new young woman, so I'm hoping it's still a LONG time before I become a granny -- at least a couple years. But I prefer to remain on the fence for a while even afterward. I have too many places to see and people to me!

Posted - May 23 2005 : 12:18:06 PM Even when I need to get around in one of those scooters to get to the dining room in the retirement center, I'll always be a SYMT!

Posted - May 23 2005 : 07:39:05 AM I am on the fence for a while longer. My wonderful older daughter is going to make me a grandmother for the first time around Thanksgiving. What better time for the gift of life? Ellen |

Posted - May 23 2005 : 01:15:32 AM I like the SAMT too! Guess I still have a couple years to go before I feel comfortable in the "granny" category, although I'm old enough to be one...:-0 And I do sometimes refer to myself as an AFC "Aging Flower Child"! Lol |

Posted - May 22 2005 : 6:19:38 PM Chronologically speaking, I am somewhere in-between; but as for 'wear & tear' I am definitely closer to GGGG. Not so much for the production year, but rather for the mileage...
