Still an imp at less than 17 pounds, the little girl is scooting around the house in her walker, crawling anywhere she pleases, and pulling herself up to a standing position at will. Active, and doing well in every phase. She has come a loooooooooooooooooooooong way. I think of her in her just-hatched-bird looking days, or her bloated, pear-looking days, her near-death days ... and I just cannot believe it!
Here she is, on her feet - with a battle scar - yesterday ...

After suffering through yet another setback - bacterial pneumonia this time [no hospitalization required], Sophia is now, finally, walking!! A big step for this mighty mite! Will try to snap & post a photo in the near future! |

Awwwwwwwwwww! She is SO pretty! Thanks for sharing these pictures. I think we should all come up with different captions for that bottom picture. Mine would be: "Aw Dad! I thought you said it was only 2 miles!!!"

She is absolutely a cuttie, Sachem. Reminds me of my three girls when they were that age.
P.S.- As a father of two teenage girls myself, you might want to invest heavily in antacids for when she reaches the dating years. Seamus can verify this, because no man is ever good enough for a father's daughter.
