Posted - March 11 2022 : 07:27:16 AM I think that chain was what we used to call a "sky hook". Just out there. There was a guy in town who had an old car. He weighted and balanced it so that it would remain level on three wheels. He removed the right front wheel and welded a hook and chain to the fender so it looked like the chain was holding up the car. The chain was about 4 feet long, links welded together, and just stopped in mid-air. He would drive this around town on a pretty day. It was something different!!! |

Posted - March 10 2022 : 8:24:30 PM First time I've seen the animated film. We only had a film strip and audio at my school.
I didn't notice Bammer's eyepatch in the film until I watched it twice.
What were the chains that moved the barrel connected to?
Also, I stand corrected on the date of the film. It's from 1969. The book was dated 1967. |
