Posted - November 17 2007 : 3:25:29 PM I watched this movie last night and thought it was really good. It's about the Irish fight for independence in the 1920's. Cutie Cillian Murphy is in it and all I have to say is THANK GOD for subtitles cause I couldn't understand a word they were saying..lol |

Posted - November 18 2007 : 01:54:24 AM Speaking of movies about Ireland's fight with Mother England for their independence in the 1920's, has anyone ever seen "Michael Collins?" Not a bad movie, even though not too historically accurate. At least you could understand what they were saying... |

Everyone talks fast and I suppose they are a bit clearer. My brother was also impossible for him to understand.
I think it depends on what part of the country you're from. I had a husband from England and I could understand him and all of his relatives fine, but everytime I watch Eastenders I usually miss about half of what they're saying! |
