Posted - May 28 2007 : 7:27:36 PM I was just browsing IMDB and noticed a new miniseries called "Comanche Moon" scheduled to air in November 2007. I think it's sort of a prequel to Lonesome Dove. Take at look at some of the people who are on the cast:
Val Kilmer Rachel Griffiths ("Brenda" from Six Feet Under Indira Varma (Vorenus' wife from HBO's Rome) Karl Urban (as Woodrow Call) Eddie Spears Tatanka Means (son of Russell Means) Adam Beach Wes Studi
And a whole lot more. The cast list goes on forever. Looks good, and plenty of native men to go around, Irish and Light!
Here's the link if'n you're interested: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0783328/ |

Posted - May 29 2007 : 1:45:12 PM Hey Blackie. I've seen Joe Dirt but I don't recall Adam being in it. Still years ago since I last saw it. He sure is one sexy beast that guy and the smile is "to die for". |

Posted - May 29 2007 : 10:58:10 AM Adam Beach rocks!! He is a cutie!! Do you see him in Joe Dirt? He played a Native American or Indian (which ever you prefer) that sold fireworks. Good movie, they always play it on comedy central. |

Posted - May 28 2007 : 7:41:21 PM Red I read the book last Summer and there is a thread on her discussing it from way back. I believe it is in the "Eric News" thread. Eric was in negotiations to play Buffalo Hump again but it all fell through and Graham Green took over but he was let go and then Wes took over as the Hump. Adam Beach will play Blue Duck and the pics from the set look scrumptious. Adam looking his sexiest with long hair. It was originally to air in Feb of this year, then word was May, but now it is to be November. They best not delay it any longer.
It is another in the Lonesome Dove series which I love. First was "Dead Man's Walk" then "Comanche Moon" then "Lonesome Dove". I have them all on DVD except of course for the up-coming "Comanche Moon". I hope it is as good as the book. Also have "Streets of Laredo" when Capt Call is really old after Gus MacCrae is dead. Great series and can't wait. |
