The "Frontier" series is available through the History Channel Store. As far as "Unconquered", I agree with my wise cousin Seamus. My favorite part is "Listen...I hear the pipes...look it's the 42nd!!!", I guess a little bias on my part.

In case anyone (esp. newcomers) isn't familiar with the History Channel shows Theresa mentioned, they're a series called "Frontier: Legends of the Old Northwest". The producer/director of the series was Gary Foreman, who was a production assistant on LOTM. A number of other people who were involved in Mohicans also worked on "Frontier". If you haven't seen the series, it's well worth seeing (it was named Best Documentary Film of 1998 by the Western Writers of America).

Edmund,
The History Channel will air a program called "Pontiac's Rebellion" September 18 at 9 am eastern and then again at 3 pm eastern. This episode examines the motivation behind the Ottawa chief's attack on British forts at the end of the French-Indian War, his loyalty to the French, and how he united previously warring tribes.

On Sept. 17, at the same times, there will be an episode on Rogers' Rangers and on Sept. 19, at the same times, there is an episode on Long Knives. Just FYI! And you can check that little History Channel TV listings at the top of the MohicanBoard for any other info.

Is the Pope Catholic????

This is a great movie! Hokey as hell, lousy acting, and pure Hollywood.....but wonderful! It belongs in everyone's movie library.
I give it "Three Thumbs Up"....!!!!!
