Bringing to the screen an Inuit legend, this film makes you forget you are watching a movie. It is more like eavesdropping on a whole different world. Stark, frank, and beautiful, it addresses such mundane topics as building igloos, food preparation, and Eskimo family relations in the context of a very human story of love, hate, and revenge. This is showing in only one theatre here in the whole St. Louis region, and as the Midwest is the last to get everything from films to fads, it may have already come and gone in your area, but If you think it sounds interesting, take a look for it.
