Posted - December 31 2003 : 09:02:31 AM I enjoyed reading the thread in the old archives about Rich's visit to the Pine Ridge Reservation.
Which prompts me to ask if anyone watched the miniseries Dreamkeeper, which aired on Sunday and Monday evenings? Read about it here. I thoroughly enjoyed it for several reasons: casting, the modern storyline, the legends/stories, the inclusion of many different tribes, and the special effects. It had a huge cast and I believe there were only 2 "white" people in the main cast. I saw a lot of familiar faces, but Wes and Eric were missing. The modern storyline began at the Pine Ridge Reservation and ended at the great Pow Wow in New Mexico.
Very, very enjoyable. Catch it if it is ever repeated. |
