Well, there is a new one out, made by the same excellent folks at Barzso Playsets, this one covering Braddock's Defeat. Sort of expensive, but I can attest to the quality, having owned their LOTM set.
Check out there other stuff while there ... |

Redoubt Miniatures do an excellent range of FIW miniatures. They are nominally 25mm scale but are in fact nearer to 32mm. Range isn't complete yet but will be in a year or so. For the time beeing they've got Indians, Rangers, Colonials and the first of the Coureurs de Bois. They also do a small fort/stocade which is superb. Take a look at their website but don't let the sometimes garish painting put you off. http://www.redoubtenterprises.com/
Another good one must be Conquest Miniatures. Haven't seen them yet (ordered)but look very good. Only Woodland Indians so far but more are coming. http://www.conquestminiatures.com/

Posted - October 31 2004 : 11:43:32 PM I am looking to construct a diorama of one of the F & I battle sites in 1/72 scale, or a scale close to that. Where can I find suitable fiqures of British and colonial soldiers. I have not seen accurate Indian figures from this time period. I will paint them myself.
Any help will be appreciated. Wanishi (thanks). |

Posted - October 22 2004 : 11:55:37 PM Can confirm the Capt's diorama is 1st-rate. Hope to see it again sometime (if he's still talking to us after the election!)
I dunno guys....$200 bucks for toys we played with as kids which were at most $10 - $15?
A couple years ago I bought 25 plastic Brit soldiers and 25 "Patriots" and painted them for my son for Christmas. I think I had $25 in the whole thing and that included 4 cannon and a wooden "Cheese box" to store them in! |
