Posted - December 11 2003 : 12:53:10 AM I have prepared a set of four maps for HPS' F&I War.
The maps are 5 miles wide (210 hexes) by 3 miles deep (126 hexes), and represent a hypothetical area of North America.
The first map, FIW_Wilderness.map, is circa 1752, and represents the area when it was a 'Wilderness' occupied solely by Native Americans.
The second map, FIW_Occupied_French.map is circa 1754, and represents the area when the French have a military establishment to protect their interests in the area.
The third map, FIW_Occupied_Both.map is circa 1756, and represents the area when the British have established a military presence to off-set the French.
The fourth map, FIW_Occupied_British.map is circa 1758, and represents the area under British control.
Each map is uniquely labeled, with appropriate labels carrying through to the next map. I have labels in English, French and Mingo. My apologies to any misuse of the languages. A text file is included with approximate translations.
I encourage everyone who has F&I War to drop me a line at albert_amos@yahoo.com so that I may mail you a copy of the packet.
I hope these maps will inspire some home made 'what-ifs' scenarios.
A little early, but "MERRY CHRISTMAS!"
... I've thrown in a few small maps of some of the historical places the war took place at, too!

Posted - December 11 2003 : 3:02:51 PM Thanks Al, you are a good troop. It has been awhile since I got to log some time with HPS's F&IW, due to some remodeling projects here at Castle Munro and the usual holiday BS in the police biz. I will be getting in touch with you, to go over the mods you sent me, after the holidays. Thanks again, my friend, and I look forward to chatting with you in a few weeks.
Your Most Humble Servant,
