Posted - March 13 2009 : 4:17:28 PM This morning I went to a gun shop (State Line in N.H.) to see about a repair to a .32 cal revolver. The place was completely packed, took about a half hour to get even noticed. There was a guy checking out with a "tactical" 12 ga. (shotgun) with 3 cases, (not boxes) of ammunition. Standing in line right behind him was a guy with a "case" of .44 mag ammunition. Earlier in the week, I was at a Wal-Mart, the ammunition shelves were nearly empty. I spoke with the guy working there, and he said they had some coming in, but it would all be sold in less than two days, - they can't keep up with the demand. ... No recession here. ;) . http://www.statelinegunshop.com/pictures.cfm |

I prefer to think of it as the 'Concord Option'. Remember the words of Captain John Parker (Lexington Miltia) of April 19th, 1775, "Stand your ground... If they mean to have a war, let it begin here!"

Posted - March 13 2009 : 4:45:39 PM It's funny you mention this, a few weeks ago my hubby went to buy a gun at Bass Pro shops and he said that it was so busy in there with folks who were gun shopping as well. They actually had a number machine!! Also he went for ammo this past weekend at Wally World to go to the range and he said they were all sold out. Kinda makes you think doesn't it!! |
