i think its amusing how polar all the votes are...
not a 'somewhat' in the bunch.
well, i was never really fond of bush, and i dont think he should have gone and attacked iraq... it is none of the US's business to go enforce our own policies in other countries.
dictatorship and things like that usually end up taking care of themselves, via assasinations, revolutions, etc.
however, if i *could* vote, i would probably vote for him, for lack of a better alternative.
isnt it sad how nowadays, instead of considering which candidate will benefit the country the most, you start considering who will do the least harm?
i think hilary clinton should run for president.
i think if she did, she'd win.
and im getting off topic, arent i? *sorry* |

I see we - yes, I voted for Georgie [and like WW have no desire or intention to get involved in a debate - my views are posted elsewhere, to some extent, and remain unchanged. Besides, Sarge is doing a fine job!] - are beginning to have the tide turned against us! As I post, 8-6 against.

Oh... sorry, Highlander. I didn't stop by to debate. I'm not a good debater. I just wanted to offer an explanation on why I cast my vote as I did. But suffice it to say that I disagree with your views quite heartily.

My belief is that we now have one of the most honest, open and forthright presidents we have ever had. (What a wonderful refreshing change from the previous one!) This man is a role model. This man is a man to honor. This man lays his heart right out onto his sleeve for the whole world to see. I admire that greatly.
My greatest fear is that he could lose the coming election to a far, far less honest and less worthy man, because of the false accusations and untruths being hurled at him. What a shame! What a shame. How soon we forget...

What is less honest and less worthy about John Kerry then? When GW was last in Pittsburgh for a fundraiser,he was asked by the steelworkers if he had made a decision as to wether he was going to lift the tariffs that protected OUR steel industry.He then said that he hadn't made a decision yet.When he left town that evening,he made his decision to lift the tariffs. Less honest and less worthy?Yeah,right. Who said that GW is not as dumb as he looks? |

My belief is that we now have one of the most honest, open and forthright presidents we have ever had. (What a wonderful refreshing change from the previous one!) This man is a role model. War is usually a very polarizing issue, therefore I am not at all suprised to see all of the votes in the "very" or "not at all" columns. Everyone here knows my opinions on this subject, so I will not go into them all again right now.
