Posted - December 08 2003 : 4:45:43 PM As suggested I am posting a broader poll on George Bush and his performance. Judging from the results of the initial Foreign Policy/ Economic polls it seems that as the results of each poll were relatively similar that a single poll covering general Job approval should suffice. So....
Do you approve or disapprove of the way in which the Bush Administration has handled it's time in power? |

Posted - December 09 2003 : 10:59:05 AM I don't agree with a lot of what Bush has done but I have to say the trip to Iraq over Thanksgiving gets a huge "thumbs-up" from me. Anybody who finds something to criticize in that much needed morale-booster for our troops has a problem. And as for the rest of the field, I'm not seeing much on either side that's that much of a better replacement right now. I was a John McCain fan in the last election, and none of the Democrats are pushing my buttons. So Dubya gets a 50-50 or a "moderately disapprove" from me. I find a lot I'm not happy with, but I also don't see anybody offering anything better. And the Baghdad trip was a winner. Christina |

Posted - December 09 2003 : 12:07:06 AM I would have to say, as my other posts on this subject reflect, that overall I would give the President a ‘Thumbs Up’ vote. Although, I do not agree with all of his policy decisions, he is still better than anyone else is out there. As a military commander-in-chief, he definitely rates an “A+”. His Thanksgiving trip to visit the troops is exactly what was called for. It was a morale boost to all the folks in-theater. Unlike Hillary’s visit, he not only let his troops eat first (like any superior officer should do) but he served them as well.
In closing, I am finally able to retire my t-shirt from the Clinton years. It was one that had President Reagan’s image, with the phrase “Remember when America had a REAL President”, because the one we have now is definitely “not his father’s Oldsmobile”.
