There is a great book out about Crazy Horse and Custer entitled "Crazy Horse and Custer, The Parallel Lives of Two American Warriors" by Stephen E. Ambrose. As the title suggests, it follows the lives of these two from their earliest known times as kids through their deaths, and paralleling their experiences. It's a great book. As far as Rain In the Face,I don't know of any books specifically on him, but he is mentioned in many books, and his main claim to fame seems to be his boasting that he would kill Tom Custer and eat his heart. This came about because Rain In the Face had boasted that he had committed a murder of a white man, and Tom Custer was sent to arrest him. He did, throwing him in jail. Rain In The Face made his boast that he would kill Tom and eat his heart. Tom's body was horribly mutilated, identified only by a tattoo. Did Rain In The Face carry out his boast? Who knows?
