"Blinking back the tears" is a major perk that we get from the re-enacting game!! I have had eighteen years of wonerful memory making events that have produced those emotional tears.

As you stand with your son to one side, and your brother at your back facing a volley from 50 French Marines at Ft. Ligonier, it is hard to see through the "mist".......but you know why you're there!! Standing in the line of 77th Highland Grenadiers deep in the woods at Bushy Run Battlefield.....with Pontiac's fierce Warriors only yards to the front of you....hideing behind deadfalls and rocks......seeing the light stream through the canopy of leaves above you.....waiting for that first shot that will spur the next volleys.........the "mist" is always present. The memories are with us.......we will be there again soon!
