Dear Bill R:
:: OH MY GOD!!! CHEESE STEAKS!! I'd kill for a good REAL Philly cheese steak right about now.
I hear ya honey! I cant get a decent cheese steak or hoagie up in these parts for love nor money. Aaaarrrrghhhhh!
:: Taylor Pork Roll
Theres nothing like a slice or two or ten of Taylor pork roll sauted in butter and popped right in the mouth. My mouth is watering thinking about it.
:: Tastykakes yum! Especially the butterscotch crimpets and the Peanut butter tandykakes.
My favs are the peanut butter kandykakes and the chocolate creamies. All is not lost in this gosh-forsaken wilderness though; my local supermarket just started to sell Tastykakes a touch of civilization has finally come to New England.
I wonder what took the supply wagons so long to reach us up here? Sniff! Sniff! Hmmmm! I detect the smell of peanut butter and chocolate on the breaths of a band of passing Huron warriors. And whos that I see trying to hide behind a stand of stinkweed? Well its none other than Doc M. This explains how the Tastykakes ended up in the western frontier of Penns Woods the part inhabited by Trolls -- instead of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. I hope she gets thorns in her butt. Looks like Ill have to send the Nipmuc and the Ponkapoag down to Philly to escort the supply wagons to Boston.
Last night as I was eating a package (or two) of kandykakes and watching the Flyers go one up on the Sabres, I was thinking of poor Gnomie out in Wisconsin dreaming and longing for a taste of home.
:: you going to Gathering?
Ill be there!
Best wishes,
Goody Sandy
