Cousin Seamus......
The trail to Ft. Morris today was covered without problem. My feet barely touched the ground as brother ManyFlags and myself flew as birds over the ridges and streams. We arrived here just at dusk. As we grew near the Fort, we raised the call to be recognized, so as not to be mistaken as undesireables. My woman, TwoBottle, ran out to meet us.....i don't know how she runs so fast in her fringed white deerhide dress......nearly knocking ManyFlags in the creek to get to me. We greeted each other with "great jubilation"......much to Flags dismay. He has been complaining like an old women lately.....ever since we've left his Minister's daughter he has been "in a mood"!
We are grateful for the jerked venison and parched corn Uncle Quasi gave us for the trail......we never stopped until i was holding my redhaired angel in my arms outside the gates of Ft. Morris. Cousins Malcolm and Davey are here....it is wonderful to be in the company of so many friends and relation again after the excursion into the western region to pluck you from the Devil's clutches. You are a very lucky soul that our Uncle Angus is protecting us all here in this hostile land.
I must go....i have "business" to tend to with TwoBottle......ManyFlags will be in a very foul mood tonight. We have spent so much time in each other's company of late.....he will be lonely!!
Travel safe and swift....
