: about the pasty taupe color and the cat-foodish smell
: was not alluring. Now shoofly pie and chicken and dumplings
: and green tomato preserves -- those are different matters
: entirely. And tastycakes are a staple food in Western PA
: as well as that other eastern Pennsylvania city...the
: name escapes me. I believe they're notable for cream
