Many are ALSO Cooper buffs, or history buffs, or reenactors, or fans of a particular actor. The Board is an almost eclectic blend of the personae these multiple interests bring. I'd love it if there WERE more historically-oriented discussions. Maybe one day there will be. But, even then, you'd need the humor! There were/are days when the tears ran down my cheeks from laughing so hard. There is great wit, great skill, great knowledge, great camraderie ... right here, on this Board! Take that away, it'd be like any other Board ... and this just ISN'T ANY other Board ... It's the MOHICAN BOARD! And I'm proud of it & love the folks that visit!

I started a war when I was new on the board too. It got really wild and we wound up laughing so hard we cried. If you're interested, you can read it starting with Mary's post 12/8/97 in the archives. (I can't even find my original post.) It raged for a week or more and nearly brought some of the more fanatical movie fans to blows. It was a great war. :o)
