O'Siyo to my friends in Mohicanland
(y'all know who you are [g]) ~
I just wanted to say WADO (thank you) to those who last month sent thoughts & prayers for my son (Patrick Ian) & for his friends family who lost their home & possesions to fire (& Patrick lost his dog, Stormy).
Your thoughts & prayers & kind words were greatly appreciated by myself & Patrick's Mom (we seperated many moons ago, but remain close friends).
Patrick seems to be healing & dealing with it quite well (thank God!).
As to his friend, they are still searching for a new permanent home, so please keep them in your thoughts.
Again, thank you very much my friends. :-)
As to myself, I havent much of an opprotunity to be in Mohicanland much, I am busy organizing the Red Cedar Band of the Southern Cherokee Nation, creating a website for the same, & organizing two new reenacting orgs (Rev War & Civil War) here in the Pacific NW.
I have alot of irons on the fire (& I'm working on my art business as well!)...plus Baby Shannon (11 months on the 13th) keeps me busy!
Oh, & my geneaology work on my family has recently found a number of more Cherokee connections, including to a couple early Chiefs! And it isnt over yet! :-)
Anyhow, I'm making an effort to peek in once in awhile ...& I notice that ol' Simon Girty is lurking in the shadows...again! [hehe]
Thanks again for the thoughts for my son! :-)
