I hope that my copy will be delivered to me at Fort Frederick. As I have given you freedom from time to time to take care of your large family matters I do hope this will be reflicted inthe price. That so called brother of yours Davy Gunn is tring to collect money from soldiers for erecting tents. I am sure we can persuade him to turn over some of the money to us for use of the men in the regt.
We will talk at fred. The Captain has summoned me and has stated the he wants another patrol towards Crougans Gap. Stated that there are strange goings on around there.
Think I'll send pvts. Johnson,Frasier,McGregor,Fraser and corporal Campbell with sgt. McDougall to take a look.
I will arrive at Frederick friday around ninesh
