: I have little time to spend, but I want you to know that we have received word from Malcolm that Many Flags, Three Tales and Sign Talker have been given leave by Captain Croy to leave Ft. Morris at once to join us in the mission to rescue Seamus! The war party who took him has been treating him well, and are making all haste to get to Kittanning.   M. du Ranck is still with them, though, and his treachery knows no bounds. We must take great pains to avoid any contact with them, or he will kill Seamus on the spot...even if he suspects they are being watched.I have sent a dispatch to Malcolm to expedite their arrival at a secret place to rendezvous with us. We will then plan our strategy to get Seamus back. It is reported that Angus may be with Many Flags, too. This is indeed good news, as he is regarded as a Spirit and the Shawanese are afraid of his magic! I am anxious to meet this Angus!

: Tell Gloria we are well, and not to worry...tell her I love her and she is on my mind constantly. God willing, I will see her in a few weeks....and don't you fret, we will do our best to bring Seamus back. Please continue to pray for us...
