: Cousin Seamus,

: I do apologize if this message is a bit discombobulated. I have been celebrating with the Irishmen of the 60th and the provinsials and I believe i am a bit in my cups. I am sending this message with a cherokee scout by the name of Red Leaf, but as I stated, it may be difficult to understand, but I have good news.

: Davey Gunn and I begna to celebrate with the irshmen this evening. Capt. Croy gave us leave to celebaret the Patron saints day and I believe I have had a good time. However, I have good news! I have met your father, my Uncle Quasi. Yes, it is true. As we sat beside the tents of the 60th toasting St. Patrick, I heard an interestiny laugh and then "pax Aye!". I quickly grabbed Broither gunn's arm and we took a quick look around. There he was. the Hunchbacked man with a lass on each arm.. They were toasting St. Patrick. I walked up to him and said, "Uncle Quasi". He nodded and replied, "Pax Aye, Lad, would you be Hugh's sons, you resemble my brother."

: He laughted again and I grabbed his arm and exclaimed, "Uncle, Your own dear son Seamus is not far from these parts, would you be wantin' to meet with him.".

: I could see that this long lost uncle of Davey's and mine had tears in his eyes, he wiped them away, and muttered, "Aye, I would like to meet the lad, me own seed."

: Brother Gunn and I had at that time empty mugs and we asked Uncle Quasi to wait a bit until we got back. I am sorry, dear cousin, but the drink had the best of us. We filled our cups at the barrel in the company street and when we returned, your dear father, our own uNcle Quasi was gone.

: But we know that he is here and he wants to meet with you. The shock of meeting with his two long lost nephws and knowing his son is in the area, must have been too much for him. Hurry, cousin Seamus, come to Fort Carlisle as soon as you can so that we can find your dear father and the meeting can take place.

: I do hope this message reaches you. The cherokee red Leaf has a strange look about him. OH, one more piece of good news.
: A lenpae scout reached us this morning, he told us through sign that he had met two long hutners and another lenpe by the name of Sign Talker who were traveling west to reach Carlisle. In his description, it sounds much like Many Flags and Three Tales. I believe they are on their way to rencexvous with us here. Make all hast, cousin Sheamus, for we leave for Fort Morris in a day's time.

: Finally, I believe that Uncle Angus is also very near. the lenape who gave us the news of Flags and Tales told us of a spirit which lives in the area which herds white fleeced cattle and calls out strange words. to think that Uncle Angus and Uncle Quasi could both be here in the colonies.

: God save the King!
