That's OK Jo,
Just say you went to school in NC (we're up to at least 48th in the country I think). AND THEN, you will have experienced the thrill of driving across a bridge that has iced before the road has on a cold, wet January morning. It's raining, no wait, it's sleeting, no wait, it's raining, no....now it's snowing, oh wait it's raining again but it's freezing on the cars and trees (get out scraper to attack 2 inches of frozen stuff on windshield) I hope the power is still on when I get home, so my alarm clock will work and I can get up and do this again tomorrow morning, that is unless it's 70 degrees when we get up. Having grown up here, having experienced it, I never thought about those signs. Perhaps we should have said it more wisely, as Captain Conundrum would have..."the road will ice after the bridge."
Ha Ha , don't know where that came from. It is actually GORGEOUS here now. OOps,wait, I better be careful.. we here in Eastern NC hold our breaths when we talk about the weather anymore!
Happy St. Patrick's Day,
Diana
