: : : : Myrrh - Did you ever get an answer to your questions? I would also like to know. Thanks.

: : Is there a way to place a picture of this commercial on this board. I would love to see Eric in it. If not, thanks anyway.
: I would love to see it too but the Massachusetts Bay Colony isnt close enough to the border to pick up Canadian TV. Perhaps if we beg She-Who-Stands-By-Her-Claims she can accommodate your request or at least tell us about the commercial. Pretty please with a nice, juicy gnome on top.

Hello all,
I just wrote my post and got my answer that it was ES in the commercial and I thought ok my question is answered. Then I see lots of posts asking about it.
I really didn't think that there would be so much interest. but then I guess the *is* *Eric Schweig* we are talking about.
Ok I'll fill you in on as many details as I can now.
As soon as a get a good look at that commercial again, I'll tell you ALL the DETAILS!
It is shown on the Canadian network called CTV. It is too bad its not showing on US tv as well.
OK.
Setting: apartment, you see the kitchen with a table, and a living room with a tv.
ES sitting on a couch in an apartment. There are old re-runs of The Lone Ranger playing on the tv off to the side. ES talks about Tonto and the Lone Ranger and how well they worked together and such ( more details later)
The conclusion the viewers are to get is that nothing is good without its sidekick.
The tone is serious enough because ES does make you believe he was Tonto. The commercial also has a slightly humourous and slightly hokey tone to it too because of the premise (it's supposed to tie in that a meal isn't good enough without a sidekick eg. pasta, rice etc) but I think it is well done. ES's acting was good.
ES is pretty much laid back in that commercial. He comes across very believable as Tonto. He has a beautiful voice. His voice - you can't get enough of it and - yes he's good to look at.
I'll write you the script and more details when I get them.
Hope this is enough for now. I'll try to write more details and I'll try to get a picture up if I can. ok?
