Only here can a fat, waddling duck wearing a blue calico bonnet, be lying passed out in the middle of the Village Green, and no one pays the slightest attention.  Guess I'll have to fly down to the river & get some cold water to dash in her face...though carrying it back one tiny beakful at a time sure won't have much of an effect, sartain...but what else can I do???

: Ha!  Stress-molt condition!  I love it!  Guess there will soon be a sale on pillows, quilts, pens, etc and the Huron will be fletching new arrows for the quiver!

: And Birdie.....I didn't see any dang DUCK around defending gnomes when Doc Mary or that nasty Night Sky were plotting to snare us and exchanging recipes!!!  It's as the nice Scots lady was saying...DUCK makes sense for dinner.  You don't make a DINNER outta gnome, you invite him to share your DUCK dinner!
