My dear King;
I thank you so much for your visit, however brief it was!
Madames Vita and Alana missed your presence, which leads me to speculate that you came in on tip-toes, just to check us out in peace and quiet...
You see, sir, Vita was busy writing up her storms and Alana was embroiled in twin-duty, doing the art and design while nudging authoress Marie de Merle to find the time to seat one more angel on the head of a pin so she can continue writing Eden's Winter....
Have you read the synopsis of Eden's Winter, dear King? It delves into your era, and on top of keeping us spellbound with nail-biting suspense and an intelligent, sensitive yet quite plucky heroine, Eden's Winter is very well researched.
Indeed sir, Vita aka She of the Many Names, says that only in LOTMLand could she have run into such vibrant talent as Marie de Merle's....
Dear sir King, next time, please arrive with all the fanfare befitting such royal visit, and afford the madames Alana and Vita the opportunity to serve you steaming ruby red tea in gold-rimmed glasses, along with nut-filled flaky baklava dripping with rose-scented syrup.... in fact, in a few days, right next to their Reading Parlor,they will have the Fortune Teller from Coffee Nation dispensing quite interesting tidbits regarding coffee and its history, while dispensing fortunes....
Until your next visit, I shall go back to the Towne Square and fortified with throat lozenges, shall continue my cry:
COME ONE, COME ALL! To the House of Rose!
Yr Hmbl and Obdnt Srvnt, Ye Olde TowneCrier
