: No offense taken Rich.  Trolls are the evil, smelly opposite of gnomes, and are definitely not the same thing as Gnomes, just as Marcia states.  Not the same at all.  Trolls - big pointed ears, with huge tufts of hair growing out of them, extraodinarily long ape-like arms, huge bulbous nose always running with snot, huge huge feet, big round red eyes under almost neanderthal brows heavy lidded.  The are known as VERY stupid creatures and are therefore easily avoided or tricked. However, should anyone fall into their grasp and power the purely evil, maliscious nature of the troll becomes apparent at the gleeful way they torture their victims.

: Gnomes, on the other hand as every one knows, are cute, lovable, good hearted, industrious, intelligent helpers of mankind and nature.

: And the most effective way of dealing with the internet form of Trolls?  You got it spot on, Rich.  You just ignore them.  Completely.  Don't answer and don't acknowlege that they even exist.  Not getting any satisfaction our of their maliscious attacks, they move elsewhere.
