Afternoon, Bee Holder. To be sure, we don't know if everything's all right or not. We came out here to investigate a possible Indian raid from Simon Girty and his Shawnees, and now Miss Marcia's got herself barricaded up there in the house with Hector, and there's not a living sound coming out of the place. I been trying to look through this thin gap under the front door to see if I could see any sign of movement inside, but it's too dark to see anything through that small a crack, and we don't know if she's fainted or been captured or what. Was just about to have the Boy Scouts break down the door, when you showed up. I must say, I'm at my wits' end with worrying about what's happened to her!
