Cousin Seamus has once again gotten himself mixed up with a bad lot, female that is. There are some of us whose life is complete with a pipe of taback, a mug of ale, and a warm fire. There are others who must have the warmth of she arms and legs. Seamus will shuck her off as soon as he is back in the company of cousins and friends. The Highlanders are indeed grenadiers in Montgomery's, the 77th. Cpl. MacWilliam and his brother Gunn being my cousins, we share the same grandfather, my mother coming from Scotland as maid for a family afore I was born. She was employed when I was but a wee bairn as seamstress for the King's flags here in the colonies, hence my Lenape name of Many Flags, my Christian name not being able to be signed by the Lenape family which lived near my family in the county of Berks. My brother Three Tales and I arrive in a few days at the Warrior's Run where Freeland has his stockade, this being north of Boone's Fort that being north of the Chillisquaque. Our road has been easy, the weather being cool and game plentiful. Pax Aye!
