Sir, I beseech you to take good care of our dear Towne Crier when you are together at Bummpo's. His state yesterday evening was deplorable, and I know you to be an upstanding citizen of MohicanLand so I trust indeed that you will assist him in either cutting short his prodigeous embibbing, or at least see him safetly home in a something other than a state of undress.

: : : I just stopped by Miss Marcia's, but she wasn't at home, so I thought I'd ramble on up the trail to Bumppo's for a companionable evening with some friends. Can't imagine where Miss Marcia could be. Usually find her at home of an evening working on some embroidery for the church ladies' group or cooking up something special for the lonely folks down at the Mohicanland Rest Home, or maybe just rockin' on the porch and singin' a hymn or two. But no sign of her tonight. Looks like the two of you are heading for Bumppo's, too. Mind if I join you?

(quick glance at Hurry) I heerd - uhhhhhh - yeah! that's it - I heerd they're all outta ale and don't expect to get anymore in 'til next week. Not sure they're even going to be open tonight. Nosiree, I do believe they're all closed up.

: Nonsense! Nonsense, She. Bumppo's never closes! If they haven't got a shipment of Old Frothingslosh, they've always got rum and cider and no end of other deelightful potations to whet yer whistle. Besides, if they're supposed to be closed, what're you two headin' that way for? Heard Doc Mary sayin' she was going up there tonight, too. Should be a good crowd, ale or no ale. Forge ahead, comrades - here's to a pleasant evening for all!
