: : : Well, on our lastest trip to the land of mass quanities (Costco), lo and behold what did we discover in the racks of discount DVDs? You guessed it, old Daniel Day himself running with musket. A hole crate full. The "Expanded version" no less. I think the expanded version means that they turned up the brightness and contrast so you could see something other than dark shadows. (just kidding it is different slightly) Jo says the cassette of the sound tract is out of print, She' sad since she wore hers out. I'm jubulant as I thought my ears drums would give out before the tape. I'll have to make one for her from the CD.

: Well, they may say they are selling them; but they are "out of stock" "working with the supplier" and "don't know when they'll ship"....same with CD.com; same reply....so I'll let you know if it ever arrives; I've had it "back ordered" for more than two days and a bit now....

: As far as the bin of LOTM DVD's at the "store" my LOTM hubby and I saw, it took every bit of restraint to not want to whip out the marker and add to the "Directors Expanded Edition" sticker: 
: "3 minutes only".....however, my LOTM hubby directed me to the laundry detergents isle so I came  to  my senses.  Nothing like the smell of soap on a Monday afternoon....

: (However, there were three "Lonesome Dove" DVD's so now there are only two left at the store; and, of all things,  a "Gray Owl" DVD....very interesting trip to the market!)
