In an article in the local newspaper, the Herald-Leader, on Native American heritage in Kentucky it mentioned John Arrasmith of Boone County. He is the person who made some of the artifacts for LOTM. He is of Cherokee ancestry. They also did a profile on him in a program on the local educational channel. It showed him in his workshop discussing his research on methods of construction he uses in his work and his use of authentic materials. There was a LOTM poster on one wall. The article also mentions that he acted on DWW as a lead buffalo hunter and scout.

I hadn't seen him mentioned before.
