Update:
I asked Eric this morning what he wants me to post on this board. He wanted to thank you all for your thoughts, your supports, email messages, your calls; it means so much to him. Every call was a surprise to him. He appreciated your thoughts. After Jo's call, his mother called to say his aunt (his father's sister, for those who didn't know, his father passed away last May) had passed away yesterday.
Eric has been living with me and most of his things are at my house. Yes, Sarah, his uniform and musket and other Mohican things are at my house. He noticed how careless Cathy gets, just one or two month ago, Eric took all his mother's paintings, his grandmothers' handmade quilts, and all the photos. Those things can't be replaced and we are so grateful we got it out.
Eric got full custody of the kids last December. Prior to that, he shared the custody with Cathy. Most of the kids' things were still there. The kids lost their books, videotapes, toys, shoes and stuffed animals.
The mortgage insurance will look at the house this Friday between 3 and 5 PM.
I asked what he and the kids need. He said, help us clean out this Saturday, clothes, shoes or toys for the kids. Matthew, 10,wears size 14, Sierra, 3, wears size 3-4, and Andrew, 23 months, wears size 2. I am not sure of the shoe sizes. We probably will have to rent garbage chute to throw away stuffs from the house.
Eric is going through a difficult time right now but your thought means so much to him. I printed out all the emails, and messages from the board to him. By the way, his email is still the same dragonslayer@hci.net. It's just that the computer at my place is falling apart.
